Mission

Our mission is to shape public debate on critical transportation issues and build an innovative network of transportation professionals with a view to helping this sector progress from a social, economic and technical point of view, for the benefit of all players concerned public and private, particularly but not exclusively by:

  • Promoting the improved mobility people on a national scale;
  • Being the national network of collective transport proffessionals;
  • Being the point of reference for knowledge on collective transport;
  • Being the national forum in the area of transport policy, and
  • Advocating for collective transport

How We Create Impact

To achieve our vision for a transportation system that fosters economic vitality, conserves the environment and improves the quality of life for all, we adhere to a five-part theory of change:

  • Research: We conduct research and Independent analysis - we study critical issues in transportation, provide recommendation and analysis that shapes solutions and inform desicion making
  • Innovation: We act as a hub of an extensive network of innovative transportation professionals and leaders – we convene and empower cross-sector network of governments, business, non-profit and philanthropic leaders at all levels who work together to solve problems, develop new solutions, and advocate for broader reforms.
  • Training: We translate our research into on-the ground knowledge and action, pilot new strategies, and codify our research through new tools and resources that can be adapted and scaled.
  • Advocacy: Encourage government to adopt policy reforms and implement best practices that facilitate innovations and solutions.
  • Investmemt: Mobilize resources for onward investment in innovative transportation solutions.

Convened by World Resources Institute (WRI), National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), and Nairobi City County.The working group offers a platform and network of professional engagements aimed towards reduction of air pollution in Kenya .
